Week 35 - Money-makers at Publix Rock!!!

Since last week was so horrible donation-wise, I really wanted to get a jump on things this week (plus I needed to redeem myself a little!)  Here's the breakdown (keep in mind that everything BUT the Motrin and Right Guard will end with today's ad at Publix - Run and Get POWERADE if you like it!!!!).

8 4-packs Motrin - $1.09 each.  I paid $-3.28!!!!  Used 4 of the $3/2 Motrin from 3/9 RP insert.  (I know I had told everyone that my store did not carry these - it was true!  But I went to a bigger store that I knew had a trial/travel size section - and they had them!!!!)

2 Quaker Instant Oatmeal - $2.98 BOGO.
No coupons used.

2 Post Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy - $3.29 BOGO.  I paid $-.71!
Used 2 of the $1/1 Post cereal Target printable coupons AND 2 of the $1/1 Honey Bunches of Oats printable.

2 3-packs Dial Bar Soap - $2.29 BOGO.  I paid $1.29 for both.
Used 1 $1/2 Dial from 3/16 RP insert.

4 8-pack POWERADE - $5.85 BOGO.  I paid $3.70 for all 4.
Used 2 of the $2/2 Coca-cola products Publix coupon from green "Healthy Savings" flyer AND 1 of the $2/2 Coca-cola products printable (nla) AND 2 of the $1/1 Powerade printables (the only way I can tell you to find this one is to go to iheartpublix.com and search by Powerade).  Yes it is a Coke product!!!!!

4 Right Guard Deodorant - $3.61 each.  I paid $-.78!
Used 2 of the B1G1 Right Guard Xtreme Publix coupons from the purple Health and Beauty flyer AND 4 of the $2/1 Right Guard Xtreme from 3/16 RP insert.  Now that I am typing this up it looks like I should have grabbed the Xtreme Clear......

My total at the register was $3.20, or $7.11 after tax, saving $63.68.

Note - I know that the oatmeal is for the homeless.  I'm not sure about the deodorant or soap.  I was told that we have plenty of those items in storage, but someone needs to go and get them.  Guess I'll decide when and if I can get over to the storage facility this week!  I will also be donating 4 of the Motrin to make the oatmeal basically free - a good start to the week for our homeless friends.

  1. Awesome! So they take other stores coupons as well in addition to the manufacturers? I was trying to donate items as well

    1. They absolutely do! Each store, city etc. is different, but each store will have it posted which stores they accept as competitor, and they should have a coupon policy card with the list of stores at the kiosk. For every item you buy, you can give them a Publix or competitive store coupon AND a manufacturer coupon.
That is fantastic you want to donate - the world needs more people like you!

    1. You are 100% correct, and I apologize for that. It was the 8-packs (this isn't a product I buy often and I rush to list things out). I did however just verify that all of the coupons I used did include the 8-pack variety so that was legit. Again I'm sorry about that.
